Pentrellyncymer Trip
Well done to all the children in Year 3 and Year 4 who went on the trip to Pentrellyncymer this week. They had an amazing 3 days of canoeing, nigh walks, bush craft , pizza making and team building! We were all really proud of the children and the wonderful attitude they showed towards all the tasks, and they way they worked so well together ! A very special thanks to Miss Webb and Mr Lewis Jones for all their support for both the Pentre and Nant BH trips. We are so grateful for them for giving all their time and for helping the children have such a fantastic and memorable time.
Our learners of the week
Well done to all our learners of the week for their fantastic work again this week:

For her excellent Cymraeg work. She worked well to ask and answer the question ‘Sut wyt ti?’ and recorded her work brilliantly. 
For his excellent Maths work this week. He was able to confidently partition 3-digit numbers and could apply his knowledge to a problem-solving question. Great work! 
For producing a fantastic World War 2 propaganda poster after out online workshop with St Fagans Museum 
Da iawn ! Well done for producing a brilliant character design – Little Miss Kind! 
Well done for taking so much pride in her work and producing a lovely drawing that shows the times of the day in Welsh 
For working very well independently on his work on materials -da iawn ti!

For excellent work on Mini Beasts during the Class 4 bug hunt – the children worked really to identify minibeasts in their habitats!
Outside achievers
Well done to all our children who passed their karate gradings this week! A great achievement with all the hard work, practice and dedication.

Over the weekend Mrs Hall will be completing a tandem sky dive to raise funds for STAND North Wales CIC.
STAND North Wales CIC (Stronger Together for Additional Needs and Disabilities) is a not for profit, Community Interest Company which was developed in 2018. They support and upskill families by: working with families and professionals, running parent support groups, training, workshops, activities for children and young people, Peep Learning Together programmes developing children’s early language skills through play, family days and lots more funding permitted.
To support Mrs Hall’s fantastic efforts we will be having a non-uniform day to end the term on Friday 22nd October – £1.00 per family.
All donations will go to support the STAND Charity Mrs Hall is supporting!
Harvest Festival – Food Donations
Thank you to all the families who have brought in donations of tins and dried goods for our Harvest Festival. A reminder that any donations can be brought in to school and dropped off at the start of the day or with Mrs Tait in the office. All donations will be going to the local Food Bank, and will make a real difference to helping families.
