We have had another great week with the children back in school and really settling in to the routine of learning. All classes have also been making the most of the wonderful weather and had a great time developing and applying their skills outside the classroom as part of Wales Outdoor Learning week. The enthusiasm, engagement and co-operation has been wonderful to see across the schools.
Outdoor Learning Week

We’ve seen some fantastic work in foundation phase from mud-kitchens, den building, developing an area for birds, applying literacy skills and numeracy skills with planting and creative work.
Key Stage 2
In key stage 2 we have had team building, problem solving and communication, bouldering and investigating co-ordinates in 4 quadrants.
Breakfast Club and After School club

The Big Pedal 2021
Next week is our Big Pedal week. We would love your support in encouraging and joining the children to walk, cycle or scoot to school.
The new bike shed and scooter rack has been completed and children are welcome to leave bikes and scooters in school during the day.
If children are travelling in to school by bike or scooter, just a reminder to stay safe and wear a helmet.
Sustrans have also produced a guide with information for families about cycling, walking and scooting to school. Sign up to receive your free family guide – Sustrans.org.uk
