They have been busy in the outdoor area working together to find number bonds and use tweezers to collect the spiders eggs ! They have also worked together to build a bridge over the swamp! It’s been lots of fun and a great way to apply their skills outdoors and work together!
Eco Schools – Climate Change
This week in KS 2 all the classes have been joining a series of Climate Change videos from Eco Schools Cymru. They have had a fantastic time learning about the causes of climate change and how it will affect us all. They have also been looking at ways we can all reduce our own impact on climate change. The children have been investigating the amount of carbon in soil and the impact rising temperatures is having on different animals. Mr Lewis Jones has helped the children research, film and edit short videos about the different animals at risk, and the children have also been writing postcards to politicians about their ideas for a Future Wales and how to reduce climate change.
