Class 3 and 4 DangerPoint visit
Classes 3 and 4 had a great time at DangerPoint this week. They had a fantastic day learning all about keeping safe online, in the home and in the local area – on the roads, by the railway and in the water. The staff were really proud of the children and the way they behaved and took part in the activities through the day. A special thanks to the staff at Danger Point and the Gwynt y Môr fund for helping to support the visit.
Taith Adfent
All the classes across the school have started learning about Advent in the lead up to Christmas. They have started their work looking at the themes of Hope and Journeys, and the children in Nursery and Classes 2 and 3 have been making their own Advent wreaths.
The Jolly Christmas Postman – Nursery
The Nursery have had a very exciting week reading The Jolly Christmas Postman. They started off with a story walk around the school grounds followed by hot chocolate in the forest school area. Then it was an exciting trip to the post office to post letters to Father Christmas!
Class 2 – Virtual author visit
Class 2 had a wonderful end to the week with an online visit from children’s author Nick Sharratt. They had lots of fun listening to him read his stories – particularly ‘Oh No! Shark in the Snow! They also had a great time drawing characters from his stories
