Our Learners of the Week
For writing a brilliant diary about a day in a Victorian school. She remembered to use capital letters and full stops, and her work showed an excellent improvement in her spelling!

XPLORE SCIENCE WORKSHOP
The children in Class 4 and Class 5 had a great time this week with the XPLORE SCIENCE space workshop! They had a great time trying lots of different experiments!
Dosbarth 2 CYNEFIN PROJECT
Dosbarth 2 have been continuing to work on their Cynefin Project with Fagner from Puppet Soup. The had a wonderful time designing and making their own ‘Freedom Bird’ puppets after working with story teller Phil. The project has been a wonderful opportunity for the children to some important themes -through their stories and puppets they have been learning all about belonging, friendship and what makes us all unique.
The project has been a wonderful opportunity for the children to work in new and creative ways in preparation for the new Curriculum for Wales. It has also helped raise the children’s awareness of diversity and celebrating differences. We are looking forward to welcoming Fagner back later in the term and sharing more of the children’s wonderful work with you.

CYCLE TRAINING YEAR 5
Well done to all the Year 5 children who successfully completed their Level 2 Cycle Training despite the bad weather this week !
Dydd Miwsig Cymru 2022
All the classes had a very busy day on Friday as part of Dydd Miwsig Cymru 2022! They listened to some fantastic music from Welsh groups, voted for their favourites and had a great time dancing along. Mr Lloyd and Class 5 even got a special message back from Yws Gwynedd!!
