Class 1
Class 1 have had a very busy few weeks and Mrs Hughes and the staff have been delighted with the work they have produced. In RE they have been reading the story of ‘The Rainbow Fish’, and the children have worked together to retell the story using props . In Art they have been busy painting their favourite animals, and in Cymraeg they have enjoyed using Y Fferm jigsaw to learn animal names in Welsh.
All the children have really enjoyed the Small World Area challenging of identifying the animals using the shadows and clues. The children have also been busy outside on a minibeast hunt, and worked together to build a minibeast hotel.
Last Monday the children also worked very well together on the outdoor activities with Cheryl from Nant. B. H. They particularly enjoyed the problem solving tasks and worked well together in teams to solve the challenges.
Class 3 Nant BH trip
The children (and staff) in Class 3 had a fantastic time up at Nant BH last week. They started the day gorge walking down from Llyn Geirionydd and had a great time exploring the slides and waterfalls.
After the challenge of gorge walking it was on to canoeing on Llyn Geirionydd – team work and games on the lake.
It was wonderful to see the children working together so well, challenging themselves and having fun. A special thanks to the staff at Nant BH for such a great day, and well done to all the children!
